Updating Your Whakapapa

Rules EVERY baby/child/adult from a José MUST BE RECORDED

ONLY TOTO/BLOOD/SANGRE DESCENDANTS OF JOSÉ AND PROGENATORS


EVERY infant/child/adult from a Jose (that we have information for) WILL BE RECORDED

ONLY TOTO/BLOOD/SANGRE DESCENDANTS OF JOSE PROGENITORS WILL TRIUMPH/PREVAIL

IF a Jose is in a legally married relationship and there are no children born from their marriage they will be recorded in the whakapapa, identifying as a “married” couple.

IF a Jose is in a relationship without a legally married status and no children are born from their relationship – only the Jose descendant will be recorded in the whakapapa.


You can use one of the Family group sheets to record your data.  Use one sheet per family unit (father, mother and children)

For each individual we need to record:

  • Date of Birth and where
  • Date of Marriage and where
  • Date of Divorce and where
  • Date of Death (if no longer with us) and where
